Employees across three U.S. offices volunteered more than 200 hours in local communities; #fortivecares

Glenview, IL, November 1, 2018– Teletrac Navman, a global software-as-a-service provider that leverages location-based technology for GPS tracking solutions, announced that 70 company employees across its three U.S. locations devoted over 200 cumulative hours to local volunteering in October. This took place during an annual community service initiative organized by their parent company, Fortive, during which thousands of Fortive employees across the globe joined together to make a difference through local community service projects.

The Garden Grove, CA team helped out at two Orange County charities. They volunteered in Brailling workshops at the Blind Children's Learning Center and served meals and distributed clothes to the homeless at Mary's Kitchen, a food pantry serving more than 200 people per day. Meanwhile, the Pleasanton, CA team volunteered nearly 50 hours serving meals at the Open Heart Kitchen at the Robert Liver Community Center in nearby Livermore. In Illinois, the Glenview office employees spent a cumulative 40 hours baking cookies and other treats for families with complex medical needs at the Ronald McDonald House Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana.

"Teletrac Navman is grateful to have such wonderful neighbors in the Garden Grove, Glenview and Pleasanton communities, so we're committed to supporting them by giving back our time and resources," said Renaat Ver Eecke, President, Teletrac Navman. "As a Fortive company, it was especially meaningful to be part of the second annual Fortive Day of Caring initiative and join with our colleagues around the world to make a difference."
