Teletrac Navman, a global fleet management software company, is pleased to announce the launch of a scholarship contest. The team at Teletrac Navman is committed to assisting students in their educational pursuits, and is anxious to help them accomplish their goals.
For the Fall 2018 semester, Teletrac Navman will select and award two scholarship winners a $3,000 academic scholarship.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE:
To be eligible, applicants must be US citizens currently enrolled in an accredited American 2- or 4-year university or college, preferably in one of the following fields: technology, software development, or transportation. However, there is no major or minor requirement.
HOW TO ENTER:
Any student who fits the eligibility requirements above can apply for the Teletrac Navman scholarship. To enter, students must submit an essay (500- to 700-words) or a video (less than 2 minutes) on one of the following topics:
- How has technology changed the transportation industry? How do you think it will continue to change?
- How can your field of study impact the creation of smart cities?
Download, fill out, and submit the attached contribution agreement allowing Teletrac Navman consent to use your content.
To submit an essay, attach it in an email including your full name, school you will be attending, and contact information.
For video entries, the video should be posted on YouTube, Vimeo, or a similar video platform. To submit your video, send the link via email.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION:
The essay/video submission deadline is 12 p.m. CST on June 20th.
SELECTION PROCESS AND NOTIFICATION:
The Teletrac Navman scholarship committee will review all essays and videos received and choose two winners for the spring academic semester. Once the winners have been determined, they will be contacted directly by Teletrac Navman by July 5th.
The awarded scholarship funds are to be used for tuition and books only. Once awarded, a check will be written to the recipient’s school of choice and credited for academic costs. The scholarship is non-renewable and is only good for one semester cycle. Recipients are only eligible to receive the scholarship once during their lifetime.
