DIRECTOR sends alerts for all pending maintenance items.

Regular maintenance of a company's vehicles is critical to ensure that the fleet remains profitable, and a maintenance schedule ensures that maintenance happens at the optimal time. DIRECTOR’s maintenance calendaring tool lets users set service intervals based on engine hours or odometer readings. Users receive alerts regarding pending items per vehicle, making sure that even the smallest fix doesn't get missed. DIRECTOR can also record completed services and associated costs to for clear cost analysis.

Scheduled services can include:

  • Brake inspections
  • Oil changes
  • Tire rotations
  • Realignments
  • Fluid checks

Advanced Engine Diagnostics

DIRECTOR constantly monitors vehicle status and engine diagnostics. Our hardware can connect directly to the JBUS or OBD-II port, depending on vehicle type, providing fault codes straight from the engine for you to review.

DIRECTOR also captures and displays data collected before and after an engine issue for root-cause analysis. This enables fleet managers to recognize potential issues early on to prevent unnecessary downtime, and also understand patterns of vehicle behavior that can save costs down the road.

Fuel Management

Fuel usage tracking isn't sexy, but it has to happen. Any number of inefficiencies in a fleet can result excessive fuel use. Poorly maintained vehicles, needless idling, and indirect routing can all build up to a hefty fuel bill. Unwise or unsafe driving habits, including speeding and harsh acceleration, can also burn an undue amount of fuel.

DIRECTOR records all these behaviors and highlights them using easy-to-read reports and alerts that help managers take preventive measures. The solution also provides a Fleetcor integration to easily track authorized vs. unauthorized fuel purchases.

Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) are an eyes-on-the-ground approach to mechanical issues. DIRECTOR’s DVIR module gives drivers an inspection checklist to work through before and after a trip. Drivers check everything from the brakes to the lights, ensuring their vehicle is road-worthy, and recording all information on their in-vehicle tablet. Mechanics can refer to DVIR when making repairs – all DVIR is archived in DIRECTOR, creating a database of vehicle health and maintenance.
Electronic DVIR allow paperless submissions of both pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports. Users can complete, save and send their entire vehicle inspection report from their portable devices.

  • Drivers can conduct a paperless walk-around inspection
  • Tablet connects to vehicle’s GPS unit
